A slippery staircase is a problem many people will recognize, a fall is easily made. Just quickly reaching down to grab something and a slip can easily happen. Many accidents occur every year among young and old. Often with serious consequences.
The reason for this is that the stairs used to be kept as small as possible to create a lot of floor space in the living area. The stairs were then set steeply resulting in narrow shallow steps. Fortunately, nowadays the staircase has become a lot lazier (more sloped) due to new rules in the building code that the staircase must meet certain conditions. As a result, the steps have become a lot deeper allowing you to better place your foot on the stair step.
Old stairs and/or renovation stairs that are placed by an extension or build-up still keep these narrow shallow steps. The anti-slip rubber tape was developed for these stairs. The stair tape is nice and wide and also extra thick with small grooves. The thickness makes the stair tape easy to apply and you will have a safe staircase again in no time! There is a complete set for sale in 5 colors suitable for 1 staircase, with a roller and alcohol wipes for degreasing and marking tape for measuring the right length.
